Technology & Power is a discussion series hosted by Dr Jaya Klara Brekke, gathering technologists, thinkers and activists at the forefront of our new technological realities.

Anti-tech sentiment is on the rise as the world witnesses big tech become big villains, careless about the harms they cause and aligning behind authoritarian political agendas. But technology can and is being done differently. 

Session 004 brings multi-disciplinary technologist Bhargav Srinivasa Desikan (CADA) and philosopher M. Beatrice Fazi (Sussex University) for a discussion on technological empowerment, curiosity and re-enchantment, exploring the political possibilities of Artificial Intelligence.

This event is organised in collaboration with CADA, a network of STEM and tech practitioners that has real-world impact.

Doors open at 5.30pm; events starts at 6pm and finishes at 8pm.
