In this newly configured audio visual performance for Ibraaz, artist Zein Majali extends and expands the lore of her most recent work: Swarm. Blending simulation film with found footage and a live score, Swarm consists of bait, shadow systems, high frequency trading bots, vigilantism, and current clashes at the border of Jordan and Palestine. Originally commissioned for Columna Rota, Mexico City, Swarm will continue to multiply and evolve through future iterations, a feature of Majali's work in sound, image and sentiment.
