Raised in Jaipur within a distinguished Indo-French artistic family, they were trained from an early age in the rigours of Indian classical music under the guidance of their father, renowned artistic director Hameed Khan Kawa.\u003C/p>\u003Cp style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">A leading voice of her generation, Parveen performs rāgas, the melodic frameworks of Indian classical music, alongside maands—rare and endangered folk songs of the Rajasthani desert.
