From 2021 to 24 they were co-editor of the\u003Ci> White Review\u003C/i>.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Laleh Khalili\u003C/strong> is a professor at the University of Exeter and the author or editor of seven books, including \u003Ci>Heroes and Martyrs of Palestine: The Politics of National Commemoration \u003C/i>(Cambridge, 2007) and \u003Ci>Sinews of War and Trade: Shipping and Capitalism in the Arabian Peninsula \u003C/i>(Verso, 2020).\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Mira Mattar\u003C/strong> writes fiction, poetry, and essays. She is the author of \u003Ci>Yes, I Am a Destroyer\u003C/i> (MA BIBLIOTHÈQUE, 2020), \u003Ci>Affiliation\u003C/i> (Sad Press, 2021), \u003Ci>The Bow\u003C/i> (2021), and most recently the chapbook, \u003Ci>And most of all I would miss the shadows of the tree’s own leaves cast upon its trunk by the orange streetlight in the sweet blue darks of spring\u003C/i> (Veer2, 2023).\u003Ci> \u003C/i>Her work has been published in \u003Ci>Granta\u003C/i>, \u003Ci>Vittles\u003C/i>, the\u003Ci> Chicago Review\u003C/i>,\u003Ci> Berfrois\u003C/i>,\u003Ci> Mute\u003C/i>,\u003Ci> Salvage\u003C/i>, and elsewhere.
