Rooted in a lineage that emphasises remembrance of the divine, the practice invites participants to explore a dimension of awareness beyond the visible and material, through disciplined attention and presence.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>The evening will begin at sunset with the call to prayer (adhan) and a moment to break fast. A brief introduction will situate the practice within the broader intellectual and spiritual framework of Sufism, understood as a path of experiential knowledge that seeks to harmonise contemplation and lived reality.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>This will be followed by approximately 45 minutes of silent meditation (muraqabah). He serves as a representative of Hazrat Hamid Hasan and the Grand Shaykh Hazrat Azad Rasool of the Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Order, based in Delhi, India. For the past 38 years, he has worked closely with both Shaykhs, contributing to the development of their work and mission. He has also been part of the team responsible for establishing the zawiya (Sufi centre) and supporting the growth of the associated charity in Bethnal Green, East London.
